The Second IEEE International Conference on Ubi-media Computing 2009

WELCOME

It has become a de facto style of facilitating social events that participants use several distributed devices through multi-modal interaction. How people access multi-modal media in different context is an interesting yet challenging problem. Ubi-media Computing, as it is bravely defined, brings together technologies for location/context adaptation, inter-device interaction/reaction, and media/data communication. We hope that U-media attendees appreciate and benefit from multidisciplinary exchanges of ideas mentioned. The first U-Media Conference was held at Lanzhou University, China. The second U-Media Conference will be held at the Tamkang University, Taiwan
